AL AZHAR CENTRAL SCHOOL is the pride of modern Mala. It rekindles the history of the ancient city named Muziris, the port of trade between old Rome and India. Geographically part of Muziris and home to four major religions of the world, namely Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, Mala has always been the centre of knowledge and enlightenment in this part of the world. To perpetuate this heritage, a group of resolute visionaries instituted AL AZHAR-MALA School in 2003. It had a humble beginning as its first classrooms were run in makeshift huts thatched by palm leaves. Today, it boasts a cluster of the most modern facilities in a serene land extending over 5.5 acres of panoramic magnificence. This remarkable growth was achieved by the ambition of the people dedicated to the cause of modern education.
